Trademark infringement ( Lookalike / Similar ) case involving a prestigious Fabric brand in Badmer Rajasthan.

Barmer, Rajasthan; July 7, 2025 In a trademark infringement case involving a prestigious fabric brand, the infringement investigated by, #Maharashtra Enforcement, IP lawfirm team, along with Kotwali Police station official raided a wholesale trader in Barmer, seized counterfeit fabrics, and registered an FIR under Sections 103/104 of the Trademarks Act and Section 318(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).    leading textile manufacturer filed a complaint with Barmer Police alleging that the wholesale trader was misleading consumers by selling counterfeit products.    A joint team of police and company officials raided the trader’s warehouse and seized counterfeit fabrics. Seizure : Fake goods worth of lakes of rupees, were sealed and taken into police custody.     FIR Registered: A case was filed at Barmer Kotwali Police Station for trademark infringement and organized fraud.
